I am so proud of my Baby Boy!

We did not think we'd be gone to long, but we were at a convention running a booth for eight hours! Not a good thing we decided to give Bentley a shot at being in his playpen with no pee pad that day. Though, to everyone's amazement, Bentley held is pee for eight whole hours! Of course, with the exception of letting out all of it as soon as we opened the door. But he was just excited!

Wait a second. I guess he could've peed and had it dry up over time. I suppose I will have to check into that.....Hey, still, though I am proud of him. At least he didn't have an emotional breakdown so that he killed himself with excitement when we got home. I mean, he kinda did, but he's not dead!

Bentley's Little Sister!

After visiting family in Sacramento with Bentley, they want one of their own! So we took on the challenge and went back to the breeder that had had Bentley. Turns out, his same parents had just had a litter! One six-week-old really stood out; my aunt named her Portia. My aunt and uncle had to drive back to Sacramento. 2 weeks later, when Portia had matured, my dad flew up to Sacramento with the pup.... And they all are living....Happily Ever After!

Bentley's sliding problem!

I know the puppy means well as he is running as fast as he can to bring a toy back, but his calculations tend to be wrong. I cannot count how many times I've heard a thump in the door after I throw something or a slam into the couch. Bentley's paw prints would've looked so cute and perfect after his muddy day, though he just had to slip and slide into the house.

My Baby Has Found the Joy of Digging!!!

Bentley went outside one day and in the sandbox he started to play. He dug and dug and dug; it was hilarious actually. Then, after he was finished he came and got me so I could see his proud lil grin and tiny hole. Bentley was just so, so proud of his new hobby that later he ran back out to do it again. This is his first hole.

brushing? what's the point of that?

My puppy doesn't understand the purpose of a dog brush. The real purpose is (and i got this from wikipedia) "to groom a dog is helping to rid its skin and coat of any parasites and make the dog look pretty. I don't think Bentley saw that part. Because when I brushed his head the fur looked great and perfectly smooth until..... He shook himself. One quick shake and itch made him look like this!

Bentley's Latest Exploration

Bentley and I were in a quaint little down in the mountains of Sacramento, CA. He was too busy exploring monstrous jungles of gardens, meeting Grandma and Grandpa for the 1st time, and paralyzing with fear his new kitty-cat roommates, Tiger and Trouble.
Not to mention keeping the household up at night with his woes and sorrow. All in all it was a great trip! I just wish I had the photos to show you, but these off the internet are similar enough! :)

Labor Weekend: How Bentley Spent It

Bentley and the rest of us took an eight hour drive to Sacramento to visit family. How did Bentley spend this long, tiresome time of sitting? 
By sleeping and...

My baby got his 1st grooming today! We went to PetCo at 10:00 AM. Bentley was so scared, even though he just had a short trim on his face, paws, and nails. He is even more handsome now! Just look at his little face!
